Biography
Dr. Srivatsan obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He had his post doctoral training under Dr. Eric Stanbridge at UC Irvine. After working in the Department of Pediatrics at UCLA for eight years, he joined the Surgical faculty at UCLA in 1995. His major focus of research interest is in Human genetics and Gene Therapy. He has trained a number of undergraduate, and medical stduents and surgical residents.
