Voluntary Clinical Professor, Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences

Dr. Sandler joined the Clinical Faculty of the UCLA Department of Psychiatry in 1984, after completing his residency at UCLA. Dr. Sandler is a Clinical Professor (Voluntary) and is involved in teaching residents, medical students, and supervising peer counselors. In addition he is on various committees in the department of  psychiatry.

Dr. Sandler currently maintains a private practice in West Los Angeles.

Practice style includes both psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychopharmacology.
